Dexcom names Algoworks Supplier of the Year after Salesforce transformation improves service turnaround time by 20%

The work focused on expanding and standardizing Dexcom’s customer service operations through a unified Salesforce Service Cloud environment designed to improve scalability, operational visibility and workflow efficiency. Algoworks integrated multiple enterprise systems to support customer service workflows, order management, omnichannel support across phone, chat and email and regulatory complaint handling within a single connected operating environment.
The results were measurable. Service turnaround time improved by 15 to 20 percent. Complaint intake workflows, which carry direct regulatory significance for a medical device company, were standardized and automated. Agents gained a unified interface that improved visibility across
customer interactions and reduced handling time.

The Salesforce Service Cloud transformation at Dexcom spanned multiple phases. An earlier Algoworks engagement supported Dexcom’s migration from Oracle Service Cloud to Salesforce Service Cloud, establishing the core platform. The subsequent work expanded that foundation into a scalable enterprise environment designed to enable future growth and international expansion.
Algoworks worked closely with cross-functional Dexcom teams on platform integration, workflow alignment and operational continuity across business units, establishing reusable integration frameworks to support future initiatives and evolving business requirements. “Supporting Dexcom’s Salesforce transformation required a deep understanding of their operational environment and long-term business priorities,” said Arindam Chatterjee, EVP, Salesforce Practice at Algoworks.
